Kofukan Inter-Club Tournament 2023

The Kofukan Inter-Club Tournament is a friendly tournament allowing students to put their kata or kumite experience on show, or just give it a go!

Open for all ages. Open for ranks up to and including Shodan.

Cost: $40 for both kata and kumite events, discount for multiple competitors from the same family.

Location: Kwinana Recquatic, Robbos Way, Kwinana

Time: This is an all-day event, 9am to 4pm. A schedule will be provided prior to the day, however there is likely to be Kata in the morning and Kumite in the afternoon for most competitors.

Competitors participating in kumite must take note of the following safety equipment:

• ESSENTIAL – Supplied by the competitor: mouth guard (properly fitted)
• ESSENTIAL – Supplied by the competitor or some pairs available to borrow: WKF approved mitts (red or blue)
• RECOMMENDED – Supplied by the competitor: groin guards (cup – males and females), chest shields (females), WKF-approved shin/foot pads (red or blue).
• OPTIONAL – Provided by the Association on the day: body armour, head protection (for juniors), shin/foot pads.

Competitors should bring their regular belt but will be supplied red and blue belts for competition.
