Shihan Keiji Tomiyama Karate Workshops

Kofukan Karate Australia invites all karate practitioners to workshops with Shihan Keiji Tomiyama (9th Dan Tasshi Shito-ryu, 6th Dan Goju-ryu). Mr Tomiyama is President and Joint-Chief Instructor of Kofukan Shito-ryu Karate-do International. Read more about Mr Tomiyama here.

OPEN WORKSHOPS (MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS – FEE APPLIES)

Saturday 22 April: Medina Hall, 7 Pace Rd, Medina WA

• Session 1: 9:15am-12:00 noon – All grades – Fighting Combinations
• Session 2: 1:30pm-4:15pm – Dan grades (black belts) – Bassai Dai bunkai, Bassai Kumite

Sunday 23 April: Armadale District Hall, corner Jull St and Church Ave, Armadale

• Session 3: 9:15am-12:00 noon – All grades – Pin’an kata bunkai
• Session 4: 1:30pm-4:15pm – Dan grades (black belts) – Seipai kata & bunkai

Cost (depending on number of sessions): Members $15-55, non-members $30-80.

Instructors: Heads of style, chief instructors and other instructors are eligible for a FREE all-sessions registration with every five 2-session registrations from your club.  Please email [email protected] to place your request.

KOFUKAN FAMILY DINNER – SUNDAY 23  APRIL from 5:30pm at Baldivis Dojo

Members and their families are welcome to come and share a meal. Held at Baldivis Dojo (Mary Davis Library and Community Centre) from 5:30pm. Please bring a dish to share.

• 5:30-6:15pm: Halls Head Dojo – Junior Advanced Class (up to 11 years Green belt and above)
• 6:15-7:45pm: Halls Head Dojo – Senior Class (12 years and over)

Tuesday 25 April:

• 9:30am-3:15pm – Kwinana Dojo – suitable for senior ranks
• 5:00-6:00pm: Ken Jackman Hall Kwinana – Junior Class (all grades)
• 6:00-7:30pm: Ken Jackman Hall Kwinana – Advanced Class (Green belt and above)

Wednesday 26 April 2023:

• 9:30am-3:00pm – Baldivis Dojo – suitable for senior ranks
